The TDS Niobium Concept 3 is a two-part snow boot. The sole features a wide landing area, arch support from New Balance's ROLLBAR technology, and a Vibram outsole for stability and grip. The upper features a two-part construction, including waterproof and breathable eVent material for the shell, and insulated water-repellent PRIMALOFT® for the inner boot. The inner boot can be removed and used as a room shoe, making it easy to stay warm and dry both outside and inside the tent.

Designed and created by New Balance in collaboration with Snow Peak, the TDS Niobium Concept 3 represents the third iteration of joint footwear and apparel capsules by the two brands. The inner boot features a color scheme and pattern inspired by the winter sky and a print featuring excerpts from Kenji Miyazawa's famous poem,
