These easy to follow, step by step, comprehensive instructions with detailed pattern take you through the process of making a beautiful, heirloom, Pirate Rag Doll Outfit.
You will make a shirt, knickers, trousers or skirt, waistcoat, boots, tricorn hat, bandanas, hook, cutlass, belt, beard and eye patch.
The instructions are extremely professional, clear and thorough with each and every step explained in text and images. We've included stitch tuition, green tips, glossary and layouts.

To make this rag doll outfit, you will need:-
. 56cm/22" wide x 60cm/24" deep fabric for shirt & knickers
. 56cm/22" wide x 38cm/15" deep fabric for trousers or skirt
. 37cm/15cm wide x 50cm/20" deep, thick, non fray fabric for waistcoat, boots, patch 32cm/121/2" wide x 31cm 12" deep felt for beard & hat
. 37cm/15" wide x 37cm/15" deep fabric for bandanas
. 15cm/6" wide x 15cm/6" deep, thick, fray fabric for hook & cutlass blade plus a small amount of stuffing
. 14cm/51/2 " wide x 6cm/21/3" deep, thick, none fray fabric for buckle
. 45cm/18" wide x 12cm/5" deep, thick, none fray fabric for belt, cutlass handle & hook glove
. 170cm/67" long thin cord for shoelaces
. 100cm/39" long x 2.5cm/1" wide ribbon
. 50cm/20" long x 7mm/1/3" wide elastic to match patch, cutlass & beard
. 92cm/36" long x 7mm/1/3" wide elastic to match shirt, knickers & trousers/skirt
. 24 x 9mm/1/2" gold loops
. 13g/1/2oz wool for beard (we use 'Super Chunky')
. 18cm/7" wide x 6cm/21/2" deep stiff cardboard
. Matching thread, general purpose sewing needle and pins
. 1 x pair each fabric and paper scissors. Tailor’s chalk or a pencil
Size : to fit a 54cm Rag Doll
Suitable for : This is a collectable heirloom pattern but with very little adjustment it can be made suitable for children. Replace small parts such as buttons until the child is a little older. Ready for a lifetime of play.
